Novel Writing for Teens

So, you want to write a novel? Every November, is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and people all over the world write for thirty days and quite a few get a first draft of a novel. I am joining forces with NaNoWriMo’s Young Writers Program and the Poughkeepsie Library to help teens write novels.

We will meet in person at the Poughkeepsie Library from 6-8 every Monday starting October 17th to plan, share and motivate each other.  You’ll have access to our own private online classroom.

You don’t have to live in Poughkeepsie to participate. The workshop is open to any teen who is in grades 9-12. There is no cost.  Contact the library or you can email me at marianna.boncek@gmail.com for more information. If you want to start planning earlier than October 17th, email me and I will send you a free digital novel writing planner.
